This is where panic buttons and duress key codes come into play – These are discrete measures of sending a critical alert to ADT’s 24-hour Monitoring Centre without setting off typical alarms that would indicate an emergency.
This measure is particularly useful in robbery and hostage situations where discretionary calls for help can greatly aid survival.
